Question 1

What else is a 1991 Nissan Vanette Serena sold as?

Accepted Answer

A 1991 Nissan Vanette Serena is also sold as the Nissan Serena in Europe. The Nissan Serena is the same car under a different badge, so parts generally interchange.

Question 2

Do Nissan Serena parts fit a Nissan Vanette Serena?

Accepted Answer

For a market twin like the Nissan Serena, parts interchange in most cases because it is the same vehicle with different badging. Mechanical and service parts are the safest; lighting, bumpers and trim can differ between markets, and right-hand-drive versus left-hand-drive affects steering, mirrors and dashboards. Always check the part number against your own car before buying.

Question 3

What does C23 mean on a Nissan Vanette Serena?

Accepted Answer

C23 is the chassis or generation code for the 1991 Nissan Vanette Serena. Parts catalogues for older and imported cars are usually organised by chassis code rather than by model year, so it is the most reliable thing to search on.
