Question 1

What else is a 2000 Opel Corsa sold as?

Accepted Answer

A 2000 Opel Corsa is also sold as the Vauxhall Corsa in the UK, the Vauxhall Tigra in the UK, the Opel Tigra in Europe. The Vauxhall Corsa is the same car under a different badge, so parts generally interchange.

Question 2

Do Vauxhall Corsa parts fit a Opel Corsa?

Accepted Answer

For a market twin like the Vauxhall Corsa, parts interchange in most cases because it is the same vehicle with different badging. Mechanical and service parts are the safest; lighting, bumpers and trim can differ between markets, and right-hand-drive versus left-hand-drive affects steering, mirrors and dashboards. Always check the part number against your own car before buying.

Question 3

What does C mean on a Opel Corsa?

Accepted Answer

C is the chassis or generation code for the 2000 Opel Corsa. Parts catalogues for older and imported cars are usually organised by chassis code rather than by model year, so it is the most reliable thing to search on.
