PartFinder earns a commission on some outbound links. It never changes what you pay, and it never changes how results are ranked. Offers are ordered by how confident we are that the part fits, then by how well they match, then by whether they ship from your own country, and last by total landed cost.

Link out without affiliate tracking where available, on this device.

Fitment information is a best effort, not a guarantee. Always check part numbers against your own vehicle before buying, especially for imports and cross-market matches.

We'd like to use Google Analytics to see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies, so it's off unless you say yes. The site works exactly the same either way. How we handle data

Timing belt / chain kit for a 1996 Toyota Cresta · PartFinder

How sure are we these fit?

Confirmed fit: The seller's own fitment data lists your exact vehicle. This is the strongest signal available.
Fits a twin: Listed for a vehicle that is the same car under a different badge, or shares its platform. Often the only stock available for an import, but verify before buying.
Fits the model: The supplier lists this for your model but does not say which generation of it. That is their own fitment data rather than a text match, so it is worth something — but a model name can span decades, and parts rarely carry across a generation change. Check it against your own car before buying.
